Installation: Small Hole Cover

Installation Instructions: Small Hole Cover

Install Pics

-Step 1: Locate holes to be covered

-Step 2: Attach wedge to cable tie

-Step 3: Squeeze legs & lower into hole

-Step 4: Pull cable tie from above to locate the wedge within leg tramlines

-Step 5: The wedge has secured the legs into position

-Step 6: The cable tie is then trimmed

-Step 7: With the Hole Covers fitted the trip hazard is eliminated

Notes: Wherever the wedge / cable tie arrangement does not provide adequate fixing, we recommend screw fixing the Small Hole Covers down to the floor to ensure adequate robustness in use. To ensure additional fix security, we would recommend screw fixing all Hole Covers fitted to holes over 170mm diameter. When screw fixing the corners of the Hole Cover, we would recommend; Tapcon Countersunk Concrete Screws 6 x 45mm [Screwfix.com ref: 76958]. This fixing method requires a 5mm pilot hole / no plastic plug required (as they self cut a thread into concrete) ref to www.constructionfixings.com/Assets/pdfs/tapcon. pdf for the Tapcon Technical Data Sheet. We advise caution in the use of shot fired fixings due to the risk of Hole Cover damage during installation. Any loose / damaged covers must be replaced immediately.
